The Shift Leader / Pickup Coordinator oversees front-of-house flow during their shift while managing the pickup area to ensure orders are accurate, timely, and delivered with excellent customer service. This role bridges communication between the kitchen and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support front-of-house staff during assigned shifts
Manage the order pickup area, ensuring smooth and organized handoff of all orders
Verify order accuracy before handing food to customers
Call out and distribute orders to guests in a professional and efficient manner
Maintain speed of service and minimize wait times
Communicate clearly with kitchen staff regarding order status and timing
Handle customer questions, concerns, and resolve issues on the spot
Assist with cashier duties and beverage service when needed (draft beer, Milkshake, Sodas)
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pickup and front counter areas
Open and/or close the shift, including basic cash handling and reporting

Qualifications:

Previous restaurant or leadership experience preferred
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Leadership mindset with a hands-on approach
Ability to stay organized and maintain composure under pressure
Must meet legal requirements for handling and serving alcohol
